This week, we're officially launching two brand-new professional certifications from VanRein Compliance:

✅ Certified HIPAA Privacy Associate (Enroll Now) — for professionals who work with HIPAA regularly but aren't solely responsible for the compliance program: department leaders, office managers, HR, IT consultants, and privacy/compliance team members.

✅Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (Enroll Now) — for the professionals leading, overseeing, and advising on a HIPAA program: privacy officers, security officers, compliance officers, risk managers, and senior operational leaders.

VRC Training Portal Gets a Major Upgrade

We’re excited to announce new upgrades to the VanRein Compliance Training Portal — designed to make training easier to access, manage, verify, and share.

These updates improve the experience for learners, Group Leaders, and organizations while also preparing the portal for the launch of our new Certification Program.

A Cleaner, Easier-to-Use Portal

We refreshed the Training Portal with an updated look, improved layout, and easier navigation.

Users now have dedicated buttons for Shop, Cart, and My Profile, making it simpler to browse courses, manage purchases, return to assigned training, and access completed courses and certificates.

These simple updates create a smoother and more intuitive training experience.

Automated Reports for Group Leaders

Group Leaders can now enable automated training report notifications directly from their dashboard.

Reports can be scheduled based on their preferred cadence, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and delivered by email as CSV files.

This makes it easier to monitor team progress, identify incomplete or expired training, and stay ahead of compliance requirements without manually pulling reports each time.

Verifiable and Shareable Certificates

We also upgraded our certificate experience!

Completed training certificates can now include a unique certificate ID, expiration date, and QR code. We also added a Verify a Certificate feature to the Training Portal homepage and Admin Dashboard, allowing learners, Group Leaders, employers, recruiters, agencies, and other third-party reviewers to confirm certificate validity more easily.

Learners can now access a dedicated certificate verification page with social sharing options, including a one-click Add to LinkedIn Profile button.

Certificates are no longer just downloadable documents. They are now verifiable, shareable credentials.

These upgrades give learners a better training experience, give Group Leaders stronger reporting tools, and give organizations more visibility into training completion and certificate status.
